Monday 22nd September is World Car Free Day. To make it fun how about holding a competition at your work place — who can find the craziest way to get to work?
People are already formulating excuses as to why they won’t try going car free for one day. Have you heard any of these ones though?
We all know plastic bags are generally bad for the environment. They don’t tend to get re-used, they don’t degrade well and their production produces carbon emissions. Ideally we’d all get a ‘bag for life’ and bring it with us to the shops. In reality though, most of us don’t remember to carry their bag for life with them when they go shopping.
