According to an independent study, the ‘eco-kettle’ saves on average 33% energy compared with normal kettles. It does this by only boiling the right amount of water every time: It’s estimated that on average, we boil twice the volume of water that is required when using a conventional kettle.
By reducing the amount of water we boil every time we boil the kettle we not only reduce wasted energy (and the resulting carbon emissions) we also reduce wasted money and time.
The eco-kettle has two chambers; one is for storage, ready to be used and the other is dedicated to boiling. It also has a washable lime scale filter, which may benefit our health.

I think we should replace kettles with eco kettles because normal kettles use so much electricity to heat water that sometimes you don’t use.
i’ve got a kettle that only heat the water you need.
