Move to electronic documents to be more eco-friendly and we’ll donate to Cancer Research UK

Electronic documents are simply regular documents (like an invoice) that are sent via email rather than being printed and posted. If you order online you might find it alot more manageable and a lot less hassle to receive your invoices and statements by email rather than by post. There’s really no need to have your invoices and statements printed and posted to you, when you can have them delivered and stored instantly via the internet. Less paper storage equals less work and less clutter.

Why electronic documents are so environmentally friendly

By not printing documents, first of all we are reducing paper usage. Reducing the number of materials used in business is a step in the write direction, environmentally, as it means less waste and less manufacturing processing (which burns fuel). Secondly, by choosing to opt out of having paper documents sent to you by post, less mail needs to be transported on the roads. That means a reduction in C02 emissions and potentially less traffic on the roads.

And because it’s so easy to do, it makes perfect sense for everyone to move to electronic documents. And we’ve given you another reason to make the move.

We’ll donate 50p £1 to Cancer research if you change to electronic documents

For every one of our customers who signs up for electronic documents we’ll donate £1 to Cancer Research UK. So as well as being eco-friendly you could help in the fight against cancer.

How do you switch to electronic documents?

It’s so easy to make the switch. All you have to do is tell us you want to switch, that’s it! Once you’ve told us we’ll start sending you your invoices and statements by email instead of by post.
